started making my own fishing rods at age 11 because I couldnt afford most of the better ones. Worked for Narmco Conolon Costa Mesa, Conolon Santa Anna, Fenwick Westminster and Nep-tuna, Seal Beach. As well as repairing reels and making rods sense around 1967. My Dad gave me my first really good fly rod in the mid 70's an Orvis Far and Fine Trout Unlimited special auction and presentation model, I still have it and at that point started fishing with fly tackle and repairing and making my own fly rods. I specialize in bamboo restorations, but make a limited number of rods, all styles and materials by special order while Im retired. Currently booked solid till late spring 2008 for restorations, repairs and newly made rods.
